Why Earth Engines?

Stewardship of our forests, rangelands, and natural resources, requires that we align the drivers of economic prosperity with those that promote ecological sustainability. The loss of natural resource-based economies, climate driven natural disasters, environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, and water scarcity are global challenges which threaten our communities and our national security. Our Environmental Analytics and Resilience Technologies Hub (EARTH) supports organizations in addressing these challenges.
Engines
This Innovation Engine will tackle global challenges directly and provide the fabric by which research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and work force development can work together to provide real solutions.
